The pre-teen age group of 12 to 15 represents a special time in the life of an individual, for it is during these years that he or she leaves childhood behind and undergoes profound changes. Engaging them at this short phase of their lives, when they will assume new responsibilities for their own transformation and become the kind of young people they will grow up to be, and be empowered to direct their energies toward the advancement of civilization, is very crucial.

The Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Programme is a systematic programme aimed at guiding the junior youth to understand the purpose of life, construct a conceptual framework for positive social action and to become conscious participants in the process of their own growth and development and that of their peer and friends. The programme moulds the capacities of junior youth for service to humanity, releasing their energies for a purposeful and constructive life.

This programme is open to all pre-teens and teens and anyone who wish to be trained as ‘animators’ or ‘mentors’ for this programme.
