Strengthening the Devotional Character of Communities

“Happy the days that have been consecrated to

the remembrance of God, and blessed the hours

which have been spent in praise of Him Who is the All-Wise.”

- Bahá’u’lláh -

Inspiration, rejuvenation, motivation, purpose — all are essential ingredients for individuals to feel that their life is on track and has meaning. Yet, we are often challenged to maintain a positive, hopeful outlook. The Word of God, the Bahá‘í Writings, provides inspiration, rejuvenates souls, gladdens hearts, and renews one’s sense of purpose.

To fulfill the inner longing of every heart to commune with its Maker, Bahá’ís, together with their family and friends hold devotional gatherings in their homes. These devotional sessions welcome participants to engage in prayers from various Faiths.  Prayer offers us an opportunity to commune with our Creator, draw on the revitalizing power of the Word of God, and reflect on our values and deeds in life.

Coming Together In Prayer
